Qualifications and skills

• Masters degree academic level in biology, agronomy (incl. fisheries), veterinary medicine or economy or, alternatively, 5 years of working experience more then required under General professional experience (absolutely required)

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken (absolutely required)
• Computer literacy (absolutely required)

General professional experience

• At least 10 years of working experience with fisheries administration of the EU member state (absolutely required)

Specific professional experience

·       Working experience in drafting NSP as defined by the Council Regulation (EC) No.1198/2006 and Commission Regulation (EC) No. 498/2007 for one NSP approved by the European Commission;

·       Working experience in drafting of an OP as defined by the Council Regulation (EC) No.1198/2006 and Commission Regulation (EC) No. 498/2007 for at least one OP approved by the European Commission (absolutely required)

Working experience related to fisheries (alignment of national fisheries policy with the acquis) in new Member States (NMS) [1]  and/or Candidate Countries (CC)3
