Qualifications and skills
§ University degree (Master equivalent) in Social Science, Agriculture, Agricultural
Economics, Rural Development or a related disciple.
§ Good knowledge and understanding of the rural/agricultural situation, especially
concerning the situation in CIS countries;
§ Fluency in English. Knowledge of Russian would be an asset.
General professional experience
§ Minimum of 10 years experience in formulation of agricultural/rural development
projects in third countries, preferably in Central Asia.
Specific professional experience
§ Proven experience in working with EU financed technical assistance projects in the
area of Rural Development/ Agriculture
§ Proven experience in designing and facilitating workshops and related activities.
