A postgraduate university degree in domains related to food security and rural development, preferably in a field related to the management of natural resources |
Proven extensive experience of at least 10 years in food security and rural development, including the environment, in developing countries; Proven expertise in assessment and evaluation, formulation of projects and reporting in the proposed sectors; Proven experience in the natural resource sector, preferably in support to integrated water resources management; Proven experience in the management of assessment missions to complex conflict environments. |
Previous experience in Sudan is a must. Previous experience in Darfur is highly desirable.
Fluency in oral and written English, as well as analytical writing skills are required.
Gender balance within the team is highly desirable.
